pre-pasteurized poo?
    #1563798 - 05/20/03 06:47 PM (20 years, 8 months ago)

If a website selling compost makes the claim:
"Because it has been heat pasteurized, there are no bugs, bacteria, etc,
which means you can use it indoors as well as outside."
Would you assume that it's cool to go ahead and spawn with it right away upon receipt?

I've been looking into trying poo, but my roommate won't tolerate the pasteurization process in her kitchen :-P

Just an idea I saw around, but you can pasteurize in a bucket or such outside. Just keep adding boiling water to maintain above 170 degrees F. It seems like a pain, but it'll keep that stench out.

if you have a vacuum sealer you wet the poo and drain it, squeeze out the excess and pack in in vacuum bags....works great...
