What kind of experience have you guys had with Pre-pasteurized Substrate. I assume, you just add spawn(WBS for example) and incubate? Case then fruit? I know someone that was looking at: http://www.tennstud.com/catalog/item/1676047/1147383.htm if you've tried this product before, how was it for you? was the moisture good enough?
He was having problems determining how far 5 lbs is going to get him.

Its perfect, 5 pounds, with 1-2 quarts of WBS added...should yeild you 2-4 ounces dry for the first flush and 1-2 ounces for the second...but it depends on lots of factors, could be less..doubt it would be much more, maybe a bit..plus probably a few more flushes with a few big shrooms. Many have used TN Stud..never used prepasteurized..but its good shit. Get the straight Hpoo and forget the straw.

Hmm if thats true, then the unpasteurized would be the way to go if you are on a budget

HC is correct, and so are you..personally I buy the dry 20 pounds from there..and right now they have a buy 2 get 1 free special, so if you buy 10 dry pounds, you get 15 dry pounds, or 45 wet pounds. Thats enough to grow 2 pounds of shrooms pretty easy..

Some people like it...not me. Horse poo has plenty of straw in it as it is.
