1. Wipe down container with a wet cloth to remove any dust or residue, then use rubbing alcohol to completely wipe down the container.

2 & 3. If you want to sterlized the hose and the humidifier, do a test run with a 1:100 bleech to water mixture. Then after that run it again with regular water.

4. Place the cakes on the lids or place them on a piece of tin foil. Perhaps you best bet is to take the lid and the lid ring, flip them over and place wet vermiculite in them and then place the cakes directly on the vermiculite. This way the cake will have an extra means of drawing up mositure and you'll get a bigger flush.

For cleaning your syriges, run a bleech/water mixture through them several times then repeat the process by just running water thrugh them. Flame the needle till its red hot then place the needle cap over it and tape shut.

You can put the cakes on the lids or on alum foil.

You can suck up some alcohol into the syringe and swish it around.
Then squirt it out.

Then boil some water.

Suck some of the boiling water into the syringe.
Then squirt it out.
Repeat this several times...at least 3.
The last time keep the water in the syringe.

If you are extra paranoid.
Rap the syringe in alum foil and pressure cook it.
