I case with 100% verm with ZERO problems..

for coir, check pet stores..

I've read that if you slice, to fill the the gaps with crumbs..

you should use a ph buffer with peat for sure..if you cant find any calcium carbonate then get egg shells and crush them up nice and fine :wink:

I cased my first casing with straight verm and it seems to be doing fine. I will be posting a pic of it tomorrow. So I don't see a problem with it.

mix with water to a little more then field capacity (as some will evaporate during sterilizing) and Nuke the shit for 5 minutes, stirring inbetween

I found a brick of coir at my local pet store. Look in the lizard supply section. Just ask the clerk for pressed coconut fiber bedding, they should have some. If not, pet stores are pretty numerous, if the first doesn't have it, the second should. It's not hard to find :smile:
