Epic Potato Recipe * 1
    #15386672 -

Alright since I have been getting really homely here I decided to share one of my awesome comfort food recipes! I dont have any pictures but its fairly simple and delicious to make.

Ingredients:
Several Potatoes, favorite kind, any size (whatever you want the servings to be)
Garlic powder
Onlion powder
salt pepper
Cheese
Olive Oil

Utilities:
Oven
Deep Fryer
Baking sheet

Steps:
1. heat oven to 350
2. take potatoes and cut in half (quarter them if they are big)
3. take a spoon and scoop out the potato leaving just the skin
4. throw the skins in the deep fryer! (Safely of course)
5. take the scooped out parts and dice them, mix with garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. generally a 2tsp of each with 5 medium potatoes. (shredded Parmesan to taste if desired, the stuff out of the jar works. coating the mix)
6. give a light coating of olive oil to the mix and put in the oven til golden brown.
7. when the potato skins are crispy and brown take them out of the fryer and onto a paper towel covered plate. when the potato mix is done take it out and scoop back into the potato, give a light dusting of salt to taste. Quickly add the cheese to it melts over (A shredded blend is best)if desired, Top with a dollop of sour cream and enjoy!

Notes:
Its a magical blend of crispy from the skin and soft from the inside of the baked. the flavor is similar to a seasoned potato dish but the texture makes it explode, and the cheese is that extra melty goodness. A simple recipe that can be made as an appetizer or full on entre, Great for parties!

So you bake the potatoes first?  Cuz scoopin' out unbaked potaters is hard.

And you basically described twice baked potatos, without including the chives and bacon and sour cream - a frightful thought.

Good contribution though.  I usually just like to stick the big idaho potatoes in my rump.

"How do we know whether the life of any creature has fulfilled its destiny? I have known the very old to die in bitterness and despair. I have seen young children die before their time but leave behind such a legacy of love and joy that grief for their passing was tempered by the knowledge that their brief lives had given much to others."

No human being truely knows their full capacity to love until they become a parent.
