How much money did we give to Gaddafi? And where is he know? And do the Libyan people like us any more than before? What about Mubarek (sp?) ? the guy from Egypt.. how much money did we give him and now where is he? How much better off is Iraq right now and how long will it stay that way when we get out? Unfortunately it's easier for the US government to keep anything that we could use to make money illegal (most drugs, for one) while funneling money across borders for said drugs, paying countries to make the bulk of our goods and even much of our ingredients for food (China), and all our electronics (Asia), and getting much of our oil from other countries. If we had to rely on ourselves for resources and materials, the US would fall apart at the seams almost immediately. So the CIA will keep doing what it's doing to avoid that fate.

And not building in uncivilized land, without getting to the issue of who's land it is, will make them recognize Israel's right of existence... how exactly?

Palestinians work in a very certain way -
1. they ask for stuff.

2a. They get it.
3a. Repeat stage 1.

2b. They don't get it.
3b. They go off killing Israeli civilians by bombs and send suicide bombers.
4b. They sign a cease fire agreement
5b. Repeat stage 1.

It never mattered in the long run if they got what they asked for or didn't because they don't have any purpose. The current generation only want to remove Israel from the map.

The only issue is that the Palestinians have WAY better PR. WAY better.

yes, junior knows what's going on over there, I know what's going on over
there. being an army brat doesnt mean that you're engrossed in the
politics of a country or a region. most army brats are simply looking for
a means of getting off base and getting high army brats are never living
in countries  that are embroiled in a war

On November 6, Israeli President Shimon Peres threatened that an attack against the Islamic Republic was becoming 'more and more likely.'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of Military Affairs Ehud Barak have also reportedly been lobbying the Israeli cabinet to approve of a military strike on Iran.

Iranian officials have promised a crushing response to any military strike against the country, warning that any such measure could result in a war that would spread beyond the Middle East.

Earlier in November, Brigadier General Yahya Rahim-Safavi, who is senior military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, dismissed Israeli threats saying any act of aggression would receive a response from Iran, Lebanon and Hamas.

A weapon warehouse in south Lebanon was attacked a few days ago by Israel. If they could have done something, they would have but they are getting ready for another war with Israel by collecting weapons and as of today they seem to not have the capability of attacking Israel without getting toasted in return.
Hamas constantly attack and getting attacked by Israel for quite a few years now.

If Israel will attack Iran its probable Iran will strike back, but counting on Lebanon and Hamas to help Iran in an attack is pretty obscure.

If Iran (or Lebanon or Hamas) had the capability of destroying Israel they would probably have used it a while ago.


Iran sure knows how to threat though.

HAMAS is an acronym.

And it's not the gov't of lebanon that Iran has a hand in, it's Hizbullah, which is virtually an organ of the Iranian Republican Guard.

They benefitted mightily from the last few Lebanon Wars.
