Its pretty simple I think, if you like tomato juice you like Bloody Marys - otherwise you probably wont like it.

If you find the right recipe and follow it exactly, you should be able to  :-)  Start substitution & mix & matching your teks, and you'll get off track.
IMO, a quality horseradish sauce is the secret to a perfect bloody mary.

I could NEVER put tomato juice in beer.
That's just silly.
I put my beer in tomato juice and that's all I will ever do!
I'm not crazy like the tomato juice and then beer guys. :smile:

Me and my sis were in a grocery store looking for a certain kind of bloody mary mix called Mjr. Peter's for my brother in law.


I had some bloodies at a bar this Sunday that were made with Major Peters.  I had never heard of it before, but that had to be the best bloody mix I have ever tasted!  I NEED to find a source ASAP!! :smile:

There is another bar in Siren, WI that makes really :awesome: bloodies.  They use Clamato along with some bloody mary seasoning made by Angostura.  I spent many hours searching for it online, but had no luck :sad:

= weaksauce!  I call that stuff "Chinese Katsup"...

Best stuff ever.  I have converted 3 people who said, "I can't stand Bloody Marys or tomato juice."  With this stuff.

Just mix it with v8 add your garnishes and away you are to drunken land.  Whats cool is that Demitris is real good so you don't have to take 10 min on one drink, longer the drunker you get.

I know I am 2 years late with this bump, but better late than never:shrug:

I went to the Packer game yesterday and at the bar, pregame, I seen some Bloody Marys getting mixed up. I didnt think too much of it at the time, but today I was thinking about it and developed a craving for em. Which is funny because Ive never liked them before.

So, I went and bought some Mr & Mrs T PREMIUM blend mix and a fifth of vodka.

This shit is pretty fucking dank!!!! I didnt have any celery salt, so I added some Red Robin seasoned salt, some A1 sauce and some Stumps brand hot olives (I think they're only available in Wisconsin though.)
Best thick drink Ive ever had. I also topped it with 15mg of Oxycodone too. (on the side :lol:)

OMG so many good ideas- sriracha? YES! normally i just used whatevr vodka is laying around, v8, celery salt,fuckton of pepper, fuckton of Worcestershire sauce, fuckton Louisiana hotsauce (i like it more than Tabasco)  celery. fuck. now i want a bloody mary but i dont get out of work untill after the liquor store closes

The best mix I think I've ever had is some shit called "freshies". I discovered it at an upscale liquor store and then ordered it online ever since.

Prime stuff. Better (IMO) than the shit you find at the local grocery store.

That said, you should be able to doctor any bloody mix into a good cocktail if you do it right.
