Well this sucks, nothing can really be done about this. The government will do what it wants but file sharing will always be around, it will just be harder to find torrents and the like. We need to stop equating piracy with lost sales, I buy most of my media but when I cannot spare the cash I pirate. In other words, they wouldn't have my money anyway and with piracy they get the benefit of word of mouth advertising.

This has been in the works for some time and it looks like there is fuck all we can do about it, all the petitions in the world wo'tmean shit, the powers that be have a vested interest in the profits of everyone who wants the bill to pass
