How much does it cost to have software installed?

I found someone who wants me to do some work on his company's laptops, but I am not sure how much the job is worth? I am thinking $100 bucks each machine. The details are below

I have 7 of my company's laptops (HP dv2500)for upgrading/reformatting, advice if both is part of your service line . All i need is you to remove Trojan virus that attacked all seven computers and re  install  avg free anti virus, And i want you to upgrade all computers from window vista Business to windows 7 professional. i have back up files for all computers,They have been attacked by various Trojan. Kindly  advise the service charges for all the 7 laptop computers asap.

All computers are the same model,i want AVG home edition free anti virus,I will be providing windows 7 Professional Cd and License keys.

Get on the phone, call GeekSquad, and get their prices. Subtract 10% from that - and you hate your rate.

I've done a lot of computer repair stuff on the side.
That email you got right there sounds exactly like a common scam.
Let me guess.... CL? Next he might tell you he'll send the laptops to your place.
But the 7 laptops thing is what tipped me off, I've seen that same thing in various forms and it's always similar.

I have not responded to the ad, and yes it was found on CL. This is separate but, I had a BS email the other day saying I was one of 3 candidates and to go do a credit check... Hell no, not falling for that.

I've had plenty of dealings with the scammers of CL, very familiar.
Sometimes do ads for computer repair for side $ and I've gotten that same email about 4 different times in different forms.
It could possibly be legit, but I highly highly highly doubt it.
Any 'CEO' of a company is going to know how to fucking reinstall windows and AVG, or have someone that can, not go on CL and solicit random people.
I forget how the scam works but they say they will send you the laptops first or something and send a check for the services first and send more than what you offer so you can ship it back, pretty much guaranteed to be a fraudulent check and the laptops of course don't exist.

Yep but chances are he'll say some shit about how he's busy. and give him an offer. Chances are he responds back and offers you MORE than what you offer. Then you'll know for sure.

That sounds like nothing but a scam. A CEO should know how to construct his sentences better than that. :lol:

I found my last job on CL and have bought and sold a couple things on it, but scams suck. I am not gonna reply the name of the email account was "thai guy" doesnt sound like David at all.

Yeah I've found plenty of legit gigs on CL and even good jobs. Just gotta be wary of the billions of scammers.

I just found the same job listed in Pittsburgh PA about 400 miles away. Damn skippy is a scam.
