The key to survival is exactly that.  Survive.  Dont over exert yourself on some outlandish cliff drop and dont eat raw lizards that could cause you to shit your organs out.  Set up shop and wait for the cavalry.  If you have to move do so at a slow and cautious pace. :thumbup:

So after seeing Ray Mears mentioned on the shroomery time after time, I have started watching Ray Mears/Rocky Mountains.

christian bale put me onto him, I watched a few dozen of his videos and the
guy gives real info that you can use, not some crapass worst case scenario
crap where you wander as deep into a mineshaft as you can until you lose your
torch and your life due to a lack of breathable air all in the belief that
the mineshaft will lead you to a city.

The directv description says "action/adventure" when viewing the info for Man Vs. Wild.  It says "How-to" for Survivor Man.
