I'm moving to Minnesota

In just a few weeks I'l be living on Lake Calhoun in sweet Minneapolis..   

Still, with all the changes in my life that are going on, I can only think of what it would be like to finally ordr mushroom spores without having to beg and plead someone to send them to California..

Its funny but that link takes me directly to the area I live and work..  Maybe an internet thing but I fill up in Benicia and San Ramon all the time and Just yesterday I paid only $3.40gl.    I just got back from vacation in Minnesota where I found a place to live and negotiated my new job crap and I paid $3.40gl the whole time in MN. 

I can't wait for recreation while livin on the major city lake and all that my new future will provide me.

I can ride a bike to both the football and baseball stadiums as well as Gophers Field. :thumbup:

Actually, gas has been going down steadily for the past month.
I live in LA/OC and I don't waste any gas "idling" in traffic.
If you're a dumbass and take the wrong roads on tourist days driving around West LA, then yeah you deserve it.
But I work 35 miles away from my house, and I get there and back every single day in ~25 mins, one way. Which means I'm doing 75-80 most of the way.
The only time I hit traffic is when there's a major accident, and then I just take a side road.
So yeah, good job generalizing about a city you don't live in, when you don't even drive. You'd have a lot of fun taking the bus those 35 miles.

k, gas does this thing where it takes a giant hike up, getting you acclimated to the misery, then eases off a little..then goes right the fuck back up to a new high. right now it's letting you relax before it fucking flies up higher and lets you normalize again..

Well when the shit hits the fan and gas is $10 a gallon, maybe I'll buy a bike or convert to biodiesel.
Until then I'm enjoying my air conditioning. And yes I do enjoy living in California :sun:
I don't get what all the hating is all about. I thought Seattle was all hippie dippy.
