Casing Question regarding product called "Mushroom Compost"

Went looking for casing ingred.s (Hawk's 50/50+) but found a product called "Mushroom Compost" It says it "contains composted straw, sphagnum peat moss, cow maure, chicken manure, organic carbon, nitrogen, cottonseed meal, soybean meal, potash, gypsum, and dolomite lime for a pH balanced product."
Does this sound good for a casing material if I mix it 50/50 with vermiculite?

It sounds like it would be great for tomatoes.  :smile:

They call it Mushroom Compost because it contains spent compost that was previously used to grow mushrooms. Not a suitable substrate, IMO.

This stuff is full of nutrients. Not a good choice for casing material either.

Don't you mean  SPENT mushroom compost?

These were grown on mushroom compost.

I kow that miracle grow won't help but if you use the 50/50 type mix from miracle grow will it harm the mycelium?
