Absinthe is glorious!

I was able to procure a large bottle of absinthe with the wormwood while on vacation and I just wanted to say hat it really gets you feeling what I would call more high than drunk. Its real high proof and goes great with weed. After I got used to the licorice taste it was over with. I drank half a bottle and I'm feeling very high. It's weird tho. More of a warm enveloping feeling than with traditional alcohol. I'm gonna light some on fire before I drink it. Pit out the fire before drinking of course. Cheers!

Absinthe is great :smile: there's one called Doubs absinthe which is probably my favorite :smile:

You tried much absinthe? I steer clear of any Czech absinthe it is very VERY bitter (can usually tell it's Czech because they spell it "Absinth")

Sugar cube and fire is great :thumbup: don't let it burn to long or you'll lose all the alc lol
Also a good way to tell it's a quality absinthe is by how much it 'louches' (sp?) Doubs absinthe goes from a dark green to almost pearly white when water is added :wink:

Damn you now I'm craving some!!! Lol

Oh nice, looks a bit lighter than the ones I'm use to seeing but as long as it tastes good and has the wormwood you're laughing :smile:

I'll try any absinthe once, unless it's Czech... So so bad haha

The Doubs one is here Doubs Absinthe you wont be able to view it on ya pad though cos it's built in flash :frown:


I got one an absinthe in England that was 90% alcohol was so brutal haha me and a mate polished it off in a night can't really remember much though :smile:


So many different types and they are all unique!


Another good spirit that springs to mind, AGWA, it's awesome puts a nice bounce in your step.

Sweet! I'll have to check that out! This is real light almost water colored. But when u add the water and sugar it lights up to a real light milky white/ green color that is just as brilliant as the finest dro! I think I like it!

i found that its effects were subtle other than being just intoxicating by being such high proof. i don't think i found the wormwood to be noticeable after a drink or two, but rather over the span of several days of having 1-2 glasses per day. it was just a minor pseduo-flashing of sorts that happens closed-eye, not unlike the come up of other substances- racing thoughts, etc. it was most evident after just resting for a nap shortly after finishing a 2nd drink
