Sneaking Absinthe

So I'm going to canada to go skiing and hiking etc... WEll I was planning on getting some absinthe since its legal in bars up there. One problem, is I need to go back on an airline to Montana. I dont know if its that easy to get absinthe into the USA but I was wondering if any of you have ideas to get this great stuff into Montana. :cool:

You might aswell just some of it in a bottle, in your coat.

I doubt you'll get in very much trouble if they find it. They probably wont even care.

Absinthe isn't really illegal. It's just illegal to produce and make commercially available.

sorry to say, but i don't think any absinth you buy in canada would actually be brewed with wormwood. there are very few commercial distilleries that make real absinth still - and very many who make cheap knockoffs that are really strong but aren't really made with wormwood. i would venture to say that nearly all absinth sold in n. america isn't real. i'd say make your own, or go to Provence or the Czech Republic...

You can order it at a few places online and yes, they will ship to the U.S. but, it is HELLA expensive if you buy the real shit. There's this absinthe craze right now (god only knows why) and they are making a fortune off of it. I tried it when I was in Europe last and it really isn't all that great. It's a different kind of drunkenness but still drunk all the same. I got no crazy visuals or anything. Oh, and the best part, it tastes like shit dipped in licorice. :thumbup:

tehy are both from czech, but they have 70% alc.....which i dont think is good. guess you got to call them to see if it contains wormwood.
