How much is this drumset worth?

I'm just gonna copy and paste my craigslist ad because i don't feel like retyping everything it has.
I've been offered 425$, I'm not sure if that's good or not.

This is a 7 piece Ludwig Accent drum-set with many extras. It includes a dw-4000 double bass pedal, a pearl piccolo snare, the original snare, and original bass pedal, remo heads, cymbals that include: Avedis fast crash 16in, zbt splash 8in, zbt 18 inch crash, zbt 13in hi-hat, Also includes a zilbell (all Zildjian cymbals) (Zillbell Not in pictures because friend is borrowing it at the moment) I also have a couple cymbals that have cracks in them you can have with the purchase if you would really like them, (they still sound decent) The drums sound great. Here are some pictures.
(Also includes very high quality drum bags!)

Well your on the right track to knowing your answer. visit craiglist and similar websites and compare prices with drumsets that look like yours.

If the Avedis fast crash 18' is in good to fine condition, $425 isn't going to cut it. Ask for at least $520

Uhmm, It's probably around 5-6 years old.

The fast crash is in very good condition.

I mean i've played a couple shows with it. It's still in quite good condition. But i probably played it 1-3 times a week for a few years. but for the last year or so i haven't really been playing it at all. Just occasionally tuning it and messing around.

The cymbals are not included on this set, what are the condition on all cymbals? Because of how old it is I'd knock off $130

However the extras including are going to help you in selling.

Don't you dare sell that kit for anything under $1000. I would list it on craigslist for $1300 only after cleaning it up of course, which by the way will increase the price by at least $200. I just sold a kit on there a few days ago that lists for $800 brand new from the manufacture for $1200!! Go figure :rofl2: People really don't do any research these days. The trick is to list it several hundred dollars more than you expect to get for it so you leave room to negotiate. Don't be in a hurry to sell it if at all possible, it's strange how the market works on craigslist, one day you'll have a shit offer then the next day you'll get one that's rite on the money, trust me!! Good luck.

$425 is way too low.  I wouldn't let it go for at least twice that.  You could probably make three times that selling everything separately.  Just the shells alone are worth more than $425, tell that guy to fuck off.

The set brand new is only 400$

I'm hoping to get around 600$ for it..i've put about 1200$ into the set probably.

With the added pieces + how old it is ... I wouldn't sell it more than $525-550

Yeah but the brand new listing you posted doesn't include the 6 and 8" toms or the piccolo snare, that's three more shells.

He could probably fetch $150 just for the pedals and all the stand hardware is good quality and in good shape.  Have you ever seen how much a single stand goes for?  It's ridiculous.  He has Zildjians in good shape.  You could easily spend $400 on just a new ride cymbal. Plus he has cases.  It wouldn't unload all that stuff for anything less than $1000.
