Speeding colonization (no-tone's rotation tek)

This probably is not a new idea.

After injecting PF jars, hold horizontally and rotate so the inoculum is dispersed more around the jar.

This could drastically decrease colonization time.

There might be a need for a little more solution to be used, as the brf absorbs it up prety good.

Yes, if you use enuf solution it spreads out the inoculation points drastacally. So if you inoculated 2 holes and rotated, it would be like having hundreds more (depending on the amount of spores/mycelial fragments).

Same idea as using WBS as opposed to Popcorn for spawn.

The gal pal finds if you use the tall 1/2 pints rather than the short fat ones and roll...you will have extremely fast colonization....9 days with proper incubation.

I am talking about PF style jars where you can't shake the substrate.

what my friends dog does is while he is injecting he slides the needle from one side to the next, thus spreading the spores out over a much larger surface and speading up colonization times.

Same idea, except with this method there is circumferential (whoah) distribution.
