I'd laugh at my words if it isn't so painfull.

My father and I are working on a foreclosed property.  So we remove a section of board with rusty nails and my father puts it under the picknick table.  As luck holds it for me, I go ahead and step into the  picknick table with my feet exactly where boards have sharp nails hanging dirrectly in the center of my foot.

Lots of blood later, I'm able to laugh about it for now.

I'm probably going to the doctor for a shot tomorrow.

I almost passed out but didn't.  You know when you get darkness around the corners of your vision.  I got that but manned up and told myself to reach the couch and lay down.

When looking at unfinished houses a couple of years back, there was a board laying on the ground with a nail sticking right out. The nail went right through my shoe and into the bottom of my foot.
HURT LIKE A FUCKING BITCH.

That sucks man.... but no shit I work for a roofing and siding company, well one of my co-workers last summer had an aunt who needer her house resided and so I told him I would help out, and the second day on the job I step on a nail first thing in the morning then comes a doobie break and then I go to rip a board on a table saw and cut my fucking finger off and sliced the shit out of the other 4....they sewed that shit back on. but now i cant bend the knuckle on that finger....so I feel your pain man.

My friend was drunk and lighting fire crackers off and one went off before he indented and lost his thumb.  He blames the Chinese for cheap fireworks.

i'm sorry to hear that man. i have a friend who steps on nails ALL the time. if its there to be stepped on, he does it. its ridiculous.

my recent mishap news is

about a week or two ago, i slammed my finger between a log i could barely carry that i was trygint to  throw into the furnace, and the sharp side of the furnace. still cant bend my thumb as well as theother hand ca.n

i didnt even feel it really.. i waved it around for less than 15 secons and saw the blood pouring out and thouht to myself over and over "try to stay calm, try to stay calm.' as i walked inside

Yeah my left ring finger, i cut it off right through the knuckle so when they sewed it back on they had to make it stationary, like its always half bent, and at first I was in shock so the thought of it was worse than the pain but that night i woke up to the alarm on my morphine drip going off cause it was out and then it hurt. I screamed but honestly didnt cry.

Well, went to the doctor today.

I got a tetanus shot, some anti-biotics and tramadol (opiate).

Can't wait to get that bill in the mail...:thumbdown:

It's stronger than Vicodin.  I'm kinda stoned off my ass after just 4 small pills today.
