I used to use them at my old work for heating and scrapping up asphalt, needless to say they can be fun . I used to stick the end of the torch into a bucket filled with water and let out some propane, the propane would bubble up and create bubbles on top of the water that were filled with propane...Then I would light the bubbles on fire, I have way too much fun with fire though ..




But really, 100lb tank is a decent amount of propane. Is it completely full?...Even if you were able to crack it open a bit (some valves prevent you from doing this) and let it flow out freely (also dangerous), it's going to take quite a while for it to empty. You can have that shit hooked up to a BBQ grill for days on end and it probably won't run out. Remember the propane is in a liquid state while under pressure in the tank, and it expands in A LOT when not under pressure and in a gas state....So basically what I'm saying is, if indeed it's full, there is a shit load of propane in that tank.




Why don't you just post an add on cragslist or something listing it for free or really cheap ...I have no doubt someone would swoop it off your hands, ya might even be able to make a $ or two.
