i think he mentioned in another post 90$ for 90 min.

I go to toronto alot and noticed i wouldnt have a problem finding a tank there. I hope to try it with my girlfriend. I would need a place with two tanks i guess. (we wont want to wait for eachother) Anyways, fantastic writeup :psychsplit:

would you do it again on shrooms or acid? im sure this guy would be cool with that, just make sure u share with him.

Wow, Very nice write up. I am glad you were able to calm yourself at all, I imagine that you body was fairly frustrated not being used to such a sensory deprived state.

Thanks for doing something in the name of science and taking the time to tell us about it.

No apologies needed- Cancer likes you. Here, have some

$90/session seems kinda steep. Id be comfortable paying $50-ish.
But then again- jacuzzi shells and sound proofing aint cheap either.

I'm engaged to be married too! But My lady still has to get mostly naked in front of a guy for her next tattoo. I cant very well be like, "No more tattoos for you!!"

just gotta have some degree of trust, maybe build a relationship with the dude with the tank so its not just some random stranger, or have your boy do it first so he can see how cool it is.

Hm, don't really think her unique circumstance would be much similar to OMR's, unless she happens to live nearby. Maybe she can just find an actual facility for that. That way, her and the homeboy would be cool with it.

Anyway, that sounds really bad ass. The fact that it's just one guy running it out of his own apartment which has been personally fitted by him to the utmost comfort def. adds more of an appeal; to me at least. The herbal tea waiting right after sounds like the icing on the cake, what a nice guy!. Sounds like a perfect way to ease your way back into the normal hustle and bustle of everyday waking life while mulling over what just happened to you.

Nekkid in some stranger's apartment sounds a bit harrowing, but hopefully you won't be finding any videos of yourself on the internet or something;)

Excellent write-up. Thanks for sharing!

Great description, OMR. I'm going to do this sometime.

Just to clarify: you are floating horizontally in the tank, correct?

No, I don't think daily meditation is really for me.

Awesome read! Thanks for sharing, Mr. Robot.
So was it body temperature water? And how does he keep the jacuzzi heat pump from turning on during your session?

Well it's just a modified jacuzzi...it's not in jacuzzi mode or anything. He has the thing completely under his control, all working at this settings. The water is pre-heated to body temperature to minimize the amount of feeling communicated from your nerves to your mind.

AAAAHH-HAAAA!

Reeferaddict- I watched season one of Dexter over the past couple days and there was a scene where he was at a hotdog stand and they panned over a shot of that hotdog putting ketchup on his head. and it has REALLY been bothering me b/c I kept thinking to myself "where have I seen that hotdog before?"
