cheap ass drying

all the FAQ's that talk about drying say dessicants are the only way to go... but they all reccomend using a fan to get most of it all out first

my Q is can i just go hardcore with a fan on them for extra time and achieve the same drying results without having to make a drying chanmber with dessicants?

blow dryer? hot air?

if you have a de-humidifier, put it in a closet, then put your shrooms on a cookie sheet, then stick them on top the de-humidifier and turn it on full blat ,wait a couple days. on some newspaper outside in the sun is pretty cheap, i dont think youll get them as dry as need be with just fan, but i may be wrong/.

Drying with anything but dessicant in the fridge can make the shrooms lose there potency.

Heat and light are known to break down psylocibin in the 'air' drying process, which is why dessicants and a fan are recommended (Cool Air, Less time Drying) However, I personally don't think it's a very notable loss of potency. I sometimes just leave them out to dry in a dark closet and find them just as potent as I'd imagined.

a friend of a friend of mine just puts them in his computer case for a few days and they come out cracker dry the temps are below 80 and theres lots of air circulation in there. It seems to work good

kramer fan dries for 2-5 days. usually does the trick.

not if you clean out your computer and use filters over your fans I use standard air conditioner filters works wonders. Of course this is far from the best method he just uses it because he is lazy and cheap =].

so? they are dry...just dust them off!

Oh yea, and my computer case isn't dusty, that is bad for your computer you know, head to wal-mart and grab some compressed air, spray that shit out, vacumn it up, construct some sort of little box inside your case and voila, a drying chamber. I might just try it!
