single-use syringe?/cheap ass incubator

I found these sterile 3cc syringes that say single use on the packaging. But if I boil them for a little while, should they be ok to use again for our purposes? Then I saw the pharmacist- he said I could get 12 syringes (I don't know if they're disposable or not) for twelve bucks. I don't know if I shouldn't just order a syringe so I can have a good spore solution and a reusable syringe. Also, my jars are probably a 65degrees now, but even the homemade fish tank heater sounds too expensive. Any suggestions for a almost completely homemade incubator?

also, if you recommend buying a syringe online, what's a good cheap/potent strain to ask for, or is that an oxymoron? Right now it's been 8 days since innoculation on my first try at growing and no signs of mycelium (no contams either though). What could that mean? Could using a diabetic syringe be the problem? Whew, thanks!

If I was gonna buy a cheap spore syringe, I would hook it up with a B+ or PESA.

A cheap 50w fish tank heater is less than ten bucks at walmart.
Stick it in a picher of water, cover with foil (tightly) at 84 deg.
and set the jars around it in a cooler. Pretty cheap, and works
as good as anything. IMHO
A 12cc reusable (veterinary) syringe is only 40 cents at a
Tractor Supply Store, if you have one nearby.
A print is only a dollar (s/h) at the Free Spore Ring
If you ask Ralph, he'll help you pick a good strain.
