Its Damions 50/50 tek. It was a mono but i pulled it out after first flush and it broke into three pieces. What you're seeing is a broken half of the mono. The other broken half broke into two. and also has some 360 goin. I just wanted to show the biggest bunch of mushies. It's about four inches deep too.

I just had a huge flush on top before this and now i have pins coming in on top again. The sub isn't blue on the sides and my RH only drops as low as 80% and then the coolmist comes on. Its doing alright but thanks for the input man.

not necessarily...  cubensis tend to produce pins and mushrooms on all available surface area in my experience.  I thought that was one of the main reasons people used plastic bags in monos, besides letting excess water run down the sides, it sticks to the sides of the sub and sucks in with it when it consolidates, making it so it only pins on the exposed surface (the top).

i disagree with ya as well...side pinning is because the micro climate on the sides is better then on the surface..just like when someone places wax paper to help it along..

as the mycelium consumes your substrate it shrinks, giving gaps on the side and without a plastic liner or something of the sorts, its the ideal conditions

Well idk man. Its a multispore and seems to just pin where it feels like it. I've got pins on all sides at the moment so im just gonna roll with it.
