FEEDING SHROOMS TO ANIMALS AND ITS EFFECT.

I was wondering out of curiosity if any one
has ever feed shrooms to a pet (cat, dog,etc)
or any other animal, and if so what was the effect.

dude you stupid shit, that is cruelty to animals, humans like tripping because we are idiots, to an animal tripping is the most hellish thing ever, i dont know what animals are thinking or nothing, but they dont have the mental capability of thinking that tripping is cool like us.

my friend gave his fish mushrooms.. it was a big fish.. the kind u feed smaller fish to.. it kept trying to eat things and catch fish that werent there

another time someone put a match on top of the tank, and it fel in. and the fish kept trying to eat it and he kept spitting it out.. my friend freaked and kicked everyone out of his place

giving shrooms to animals is like giving shrooms to a baby it knows nothing about it so everything that is going on is scaring the hell out of them because there not capable to understand and know that this is supposed to be happening, it would be like you having the strongest worst trip you have ever had in your life

I think that's a good analogy with the baby... plus I'm sure EVERYONE wouldn't ever think about giving shrooms to a baby so it sort of shows the seriousness about it

WEll I was just responding to a post in another site about this cruel idea of giveing ones pets psychedelic drugs.

And as usual I say that is Bullshit to do so.

Your response to the above is a good example of why this is bullshit.


I noticed that many people seem to attempt to justify their giveing their pets drugs by the fact that science uses laboratory mice, rabbits, dogs and cats, etc by gioving them drugs to conduct their research and studies.

Okay, how the fuck many of you are doctors.

Get a life.

Okay, thats one thing but those people are doctors with mission, a goal, and a purpose behind their research. They are not giving drugs to their pets to watch their cats and hamsters, etc, fall over in a confused state of being just for the fun of it. To try to justify this by saying that doctors do it all of the time is no excuse for animal cruelty.

People have been prosecuted with jail time for actually doing this, thinking it was cute.

ANd then again, I really dounbt if anyone who responded to this thread is a doctor, qualified to get his pet high. Someone who feels or actually thinks that their animals actually enjoyed the drugs and using that as an excuse to do so is even sicker. Saying doctors do it all of the time is lame and is not a justification for doing so.

The Bear i ate Amanita muscaria, which is also eaten by deer, squirrells and slugs.

They are not hamsters, dogs or cats.

The amanita high is s8imlar to alcohol intooxication, not hallucinatory. It puts you into a dream state and you lay ont he ground shaking and twitching and such.

Eat some Amanita and see what you think. Caould you then relate to the Bear.

HE would still eat you if you were there feeding him the Amanita.

They actually (the French director) brought the bear to the area where they saw the amanitas the day before, knowning that wild bears eat the amanitas.

No,no,no, I didn't mean that literally! I just liked that part of the movie! That was probably the first time I was exposed to the idea of hallucinogenic mushrooms ( other than maybe Alice in Wonderland ), I know it isn't really like that for them! ( I was maybe 9-10 years old when The Bear came out ) I would never feed an animal any kind of drug unless it was prescribed by the vet, why waste them on your pets, they're high enough already!  :wink:

Yes nasty nate, The Bear is a movie about an abandoned ophan bear cub who is followed arond throughout the whole movie as it searches for life.

On his many adventures the Bear comes acorss a patch of Amanita muscaria.

The bear nibbles on the mushrooms abit and then goes off into a dream-like psychedelic sequence which the director inserted into the movie to show what the bear thought he was seeing while intoxicated on the Amanita mushrooms.

I noted above that that scene was a set up scene . While searching the site for sequenses one of the film crew spotted the shrooms and was aware that Beers, Deers andSquirrels and Slugs all like amanita intoxication so they steered the baby bear in the direction of the shrooms so thet he would find and eat some and they filmed the scene of the bears intoxication.

Thats what we were taklking about.

But then again that is not the same as giving your pet drugs.

If you happened upon a wild bear who actually ate some amanitas, he would probably still chew ones asshole.
