ive heard alot about certain strains being speedy or lazy or visual ect ect. if we could, ppl wit alot of tripping exp with a certain strain please post on here some common effects of it here. please no bullshit, this is a serious study.
i've always wondered the reason for different strains having different effects
obviously, it has nothing to do with the psiloc(yb)in content
is it the concentration of other similar alkaloids in the mushroom that determines these effects?
a englishman has a %30 chance of dying from smallpox. a native american has around %90. why? cause smallpox ravaged that area for so long and so prevelanty that they started buildin a resistance along with slightly better medicl knwledge.
if you want to get down to the meat and bones of the matter, it might be unique alkaloids or different ratios that are the baseline reason of a different trip between say gulf coast mexico and georgia, or Matias Romero and Equador. but it think it has more to do with extreme long term enviorment conditions that gives them a unique twist. ive heard it enough on this board to think there might be something to it, so i thought id take a survey.the shroomery is large enough to bust this myth if thats what it is or cement it into shrooming knowledge.
i agree that it is the different ratios of psilocin and psilocybin and maybe baeocystin if any is present in the strain you testing. psilocin is waaay more psychoactive by weight compared to psilocybin. most shrooms have a bigger ratio of psilocybin than to psilocin.
im not sure about different strains and what not because i really haven't eaten many different kinds of shrooms. i'm curious also.
