Lake Mead Tripping (a photo journal)

Hi Folks. Just returned from a little day-tripping out in the wilderness. Wish y'all could have joined me for the beauty. Well this is my way of sharing my day with you. For me, this is as spiritual as it gets.
On the hike along the way, a brilliant splash of purple.
Ah, another gorgeous day at Lake Mead.
Love dem mountains!
Hmmm, what type of lure would you expect to find while tripping? Try to read the name. (Mystic Spook!)
Check out the major drought. The white line at the base of the mountain indicates a 35 foot drop in water level! Unbelievable in a lake this size.
What trip is complete without your basic sunset?
Or your not so basic sunset. Check out the colors. My camera must have been tripping too.
And finally, a lovely and serene twilight photo to end our journey together.
Hope you enjoyed the hike with me.
Obviously these thumbnail photos do not do justice to the magnificence. If I am not swamped with requests, I will e-mail full size photos to those who PM me.

Be careful what you ask for...

Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

And this is a good example of why one should not trip and drive. Coming home from the lake:

i go to vegas every 4th of july weekend......been going for about 5 years now, a whlole bunch of us meet in boulder-i think thats the name of the place-and go on a canoe trip down the colorado, we put in right under the hoover dam. theres all kinds of cool hot springs and stuff on the way. last year we had almost 90 people on the canoe part of the trip. after that we break into our own little groups and check out the strip for a day or two, do some jet skiing on lake meade......cant wait till i go up there again i love that place

Hahah swami.. this one time I drove on shrooms and they didn't kick in until the way back from where we had to go, (it was a short trip to the store) and OH MAN!! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE!!!
That was a long time ago, and I won't even drive under the influence of pot now, but I thought I'd share.

Good and evil loose all objective meaning and are seen as equally necessary and contrasting elements in the masterpiece that is the universe.
