How to tell if its 100% colonized. Please help me.
    #1357378 -

Im sorry for asking this, but yes, ive read the faq, etc.. I would do a search but it says its down right now. So here is the question :

How can one tell when a 1/2 pint jar is fully colonized? What if the cakes have become small in the jar and can move around, are they near 100%? Please give me any info/pics you can. Thank you!

A couple of days after you have seen the last part of uncolonized substrate disappear(i.e. the cake is white) the cake will be colonized completely.

I am still a bit unclear.
Perhaps someone could evaluate me, because I lack the knoledge to do so myself.

This is my current, is it 100% yet jar. I feel that it is close, but not quite. I will most likly leave it alone for 2 or 3 days and then try and pin it.

Here is some Cabodian I receaved that looks more like goo than mycelium, but this is a good example of not yet 100%. (PS- What the hell is wrong with it, its freaking Ooze man!)

Here is an exmaple of what I think is MOLD. This jar shall be emptied, cleaned, and attempted again.

And finaly, here is an example of a set of mycelium just starting. Isnt she so cute?!

Anyway, If someone could please tell me when the first picture should be expected to be done and ready for pinning that would be great, oh, and if anything is wrong with the goo, and if that really is mold, or if i should let it sit out any longer.
PS- THANKS.

top pic looks 100%, but maybe your recipe is a little wet. 2nd pic bears this out. the 3rd and 4th pics look like contams.
