EDIT: looks like it was filmed in Minnesota rather than Canada. I confused the accent.

That bear could definitely smell his presence. I'd have jumped down off that stand and landed on it's back and threw a triangle on it. What the fuck was the bear thinking though? Oh shit it isn't dead, abort! Abort!

Yeah, bears are pretty common around where I live (central Minnesota). Most of them are pretty afraid of humans. :shrug:

Hahaha. I probably would have let it get quite close and reached out and scratched it's head. I mean it could knock you off from there in a heartbeat, but if the tree stand was enclosed it would be easy to kick him down off of it if he got agitated.

Most bears aren't really that aggressive from my experience, the ones around here will haul ass if you throw a baseball in their general direction.. unless you're right up in their den/by babies or the bear doesn't have an escape route they won't pick a fight with ya :awesome: (sometimes)

haha, this is what most people don't understand about bears... they are afraid of people!  I used to scare 'em away by banging pots and pans together.

its actually kinda cute. haha.

id say i want to get a pet bear, but we've all heard stories about bears trained to act in movies killin their trainers. so in all reality id rather not have one. unless it was genetically modified to be like 20-40lbs.
