But if there's a perspective that sees 'full of shit' then that perspective must be cleaner, less shitty at least

So we see the perspectives from other (in this case "cleaner" perspectives?)

Wait...This is a bit like in movies, when someone has an evil double...And you don't know which to shoot...

 (excuse me, it seemed funny in my head, I think I am delirious)

I mean it from a meditational perspective, if something is perceivable then there's always a 'purer seeing' beyond that, like some perspectives themselves are perceivable, perhaps not as actual forms you see outside your body, but perceivable as in you can sense them, as sensing is a kind of seeing/perception

Like you can read this, you perceive this post, but you also perceive your interpretation of the post & even perceive the perceiving of the post, maybe im making it sound complex but its as simple as saying 'i am aware i am aware'

Is it ever!  I'm working on that.

getting back to the idea that Deranger started.  If experience defines perspective and perspective defines experience then it seems the only way to truly experience is to lose perspective.

Prove "I" exist.  You can't.

By the standards of this forum only things which can be proved objectively exist.  You can prove my body exists.  You can weigh it, take samples etc.  You can prove what name my parents gave my body through my birth certificate.  What you can never prove is that the personality in my head exists.

You have to take my word for it.

Your individual thoughts/personality are expressed in the physical world through your physical body. When we converse your expressing your personality/thought and I am consciously acknowledging them. I receive your thoughts through the physical word, but I interpret them myself mentally.

the personality is an illusion created by our brains.

Why is the personality an illusion?

Because it doesn't exist as an entity. It's an illusion kind of like a movie. There is a personality construct but that's all. There is no real "person" in it. Just a movie playing and the brain is the projector.

If you really want to get skeptical, then the only thing I can prove is that I exist via the Cogito Ergo Sum.  At any rate, stepping down to a more common sense level of paranoia, it seems obvious that we all have personalities of some sort.

What do you mean by "exists as an entity" and what's the difference between personality and personality constructs?  You and I both have personalities in the sense that we have ways of thinking about and reacting to the world around us.  These might be malleable and constantly changing, but so what?

Are dreams real?

Or is "dream" a word we use to describe an experience? The fact that we all have them doesn't make them any more "real" than any other fantasy.

Similarly, your personality...your identity, everything you think is You...is a set of behaviors and responses formed from the lifetime of experiences you've had...it does not exist anywhere outside of your head.
