I bet thats right where it's going. Walmart will be selling it eventually next to the alcohol and smokes.

I guess as long as I can grow it in my yard I don't have a problem. I bet I wont be able to tho. It will be strictly regulated and illegal to grow because of the regulations.

I have no hope for anything good out of our government. That's why I'm so pessimistic about it.

I live in Indiana. We didn't get the chance to vote on legalization or even decriminalization. Yes I would have made it out to vote on that if I liked the prop. I think we shouldn't only worry about when it is legalized, but how it's legalized. Prop 19 didn't look all that great. It's better than nothing? I don't know about that. I guess anything keeping people out of jail is good.

Yeah I just noticed that you were in Indiana before reading your latest post. Sorry about that one. That's why I edited. I'm thinking I may get a chance to vote on a medical bill in the coming years here in Alabama. My best friend lives in Indiana. He is west of Indianapolis.

Im glad ur ok with prohibition raging on. People continuing to be put in jail
houses be raided for incredibly small amounts of pot. Dogs being shot and family's
being terrorized. All the money out of our taxes to do just that which will never help
or work anyways. Making nature Illegal FTW. Glad ur comfy with that. Good for you.

I know most people didn't like the idea of having fines for giving or selling it to minors, but does that mean that they plan to or something? I believe anyone that's old enough to be sent overseas to die should be able to consume whatever they want, but I don't think legalization will get much better than twenty-one years of age. It should be like tobacco though.

Prop 19 taxes would make it prohibitively expensive to actually grow pot to sell unless you were a mega corporation.

this is legalization for personal use, not for starting a business, you
can already grow in the US if you want to jump through the hoops and hit
the courts to force them to clarify the original tax act and force them
to open the door that they've had nailed shut for 80 years

I think that the government should have 0 right or say in a plant like cannabis. I hate the government. They have their filthy little paws in everything. I just plain hate the fact that they can even decide something like this at all. The government is to large and has their grip on Americans every day lives for me to even pretend to say we are free in this country. Sure it could be a lot worse, but I think it could be a lot better. It's to bad the same families and same old bastards are running things. Like I said before, we are all aready bought and paid for. Debt and taxes enslave us and the government plays it like they were groomed for it from childhood. Every day some asshats come up with more laws to restrict our freedoms. Freedom isn't supposed to come with a mile long list of the crap we are putting up with.

My beef is with the government not legalization per say. It's more the fact that prop 19 and others like it shouldn't even be needed. Their "Freedom" feels like a to tight leash that I was forced into at birth that has a price tag I will continue to pay for until I'm dead.

When do we march? Will torches be provided or do I need to bring my own?

I highly doubt that Alabama will have any marijuana initiatives on the ballot anytime soon. When I say anytime soon, I meant in the next 10 years.
