Ganoderma - Life cycle

hi, guys, anyone ever cultured a ganoderma and left it aged till it died? I'm just wondering how does an aged ganoderma look like.. Do they die naturally or will keep on expanding with new fruiting bodies on the old ones?

they will keep on growing with seasonal growth on top of old growth but if you are growing in a defined space such as an artificial log then seasonal growth is not possible.
