Yeast Nute is a brewing aid. If you want to brew 20% alcohol, you need yeast nute... or if you want to brew normal beer in less time, you add yeast nute... it just makes the yeast eat like crazy... which makes me assume that it would help mycelium eat like crazy, but that's a shot in the dark.

I will work on gathering some of the above-mentioned solutes and give it a test. I need to find a cheap pc in a thrift store though, i've gone looking but i can't find one.

You can get very cheap PC's and autoclaves at eBay sometimes. I have already bought 4 autoclaves there.
