Hi. I work an unfulfilling job where I am under appreciated and make dog shit money. I have to commute 25-30 minutes to and from to get to this job, thus requiring me to have a car on the road at all times. I have been ridiculously sick for the past 2 weeks or so and this has just started to clear up although not completely.
Anyway I have been so sick that it has been difficult to get my appetite up and or hold food down. When you're someone who's already as far below the weight deficit as me on a normal day, needless to say I have dropped to a level of concern. I am ashamed to even anonymously post how much I weighed when I was at the doctor the other day. Bad.
Does anyone here have any helpful suggestions as to how to put on weight in a healthy way? I take multivitamins every day and try and eat "healthy" breakfast cereals like cheerios instead of trix or some cereal like that. It's not enough though, OBVIOUSLY, so to any of you health buff/gym rats is there anything you can suggest? I'm not looking to get huge in that regard, I just want to return to a normal weight for someone my age.
I was HONESTLY thinking about applying for the food stamps or "SNAP" program as I think they now call it, because I make that dog shit money and have literally had to put gas in my car to get home over buying a fucking cheeseburger on more than one occasion. At least that way I could afford some nutritious food rather than budgeting what little money I have between gas and the cheapest menu item at McDonalds time and time again.
Help?
