Mods Stepping Down?

I recently noticed a lot of mods/admins stepping down. For example Thor as an admin and the great Anno as a mod. I know the reason Thor stepped down, but why did Anno and the others step down?

Anno is involved in the technical aspects of the BB and website. He works on the FAQ, indexing policy files, combining forums, and the like -- all the behind the scenes kind of stuff.
