this is huichol art made by mexican shamans who trip on peyote. It's cool to think that people were tripping and making trippy art long before westerners even knew anything about tripping. Gotta get me one of those trippy cats.

for sure! if you try tripping on a really high mescaline dose you will especially see the connection. this one is one with the thick crawling orange lines really reminds me of a heavy mescaline trip. orange wiggly lines was one of the most noticeable effects when i took over a gram

it's all bead art. made with a ton of tiny beads

some of them are yarn art like this one

yes! if you look closely at alot of the art, you will see very visible peyote buttons in the art :smile:

huichol people have been using mescaline thousands of years before christ they use it as all kinds of medicines pretty sweet to see how people spirituality came directly from mescaline

read an article that said they dug up thousands of year old peyote buttons, and extracted mescaline alkaloids from them lol i can't believe the chemical can withstand thousands of years of sitting around
