As long as you don't use heat to dry the shrooms you should have little to none potency loss calculating that 10 grams of fresh mushrooms = 1 gram of dried

I think that they do in fact lose some potency. 3 grams of dry shrooms isn't gonna do nearly as much to you as 30 grams of fresh shrooms. Try it sometime and you'll see.

I dont think there will be much of a difference. I have heard that fresh shrooms may be slighty higher in potency, but, not a huge difference. Other mushrooms such as azurescens and cyanescens will loose potency when dried.

I have tried 30 grams of fresh and compared it to 3 grams of dried and saw very little difference. I think any increase in potencey may be psychosomatic and it just seems like you should be higher because of the amount of material you ate. Granted there probably is a potency loss through drying as that would explain the bluing but I think the actual loss is minimal

Also im sure the water content isnt exactly 10% i think its 92% so 30 grams wet would be more then 3 grams dry slightly

eye don't think the potency between dry and fresh has much difference, if they're dried properly. eye do find fresh ones to be more visual though, but that might just depend on the individual.

Just think about it rationally. The best way to dry them i think is to first fan dry them, which uses no heat and only the water would be taken away from the mushroom. Now put it with dessicant, and dessicant only absorbs water, so the only place you could possible lose very small amounts of potency is handling or cutting/grinding them out.
