What should a dried shroom smell like?

Hi there, I'm a newbie (obviously). Just wondering if dried shrooms are supposed to smell kinda bad... There's no visible contamination, and they smelled fine when they were picked. But the desiccant chamber started to reek as they were drying, and now the cracker dry shrooms smell like ass. Any insight would be much appreciated :smile:

Thay should smell like shrooms actually....
The smell of dried ones is not like the fresh ones smell, but they should have this rotten shroomy smell.Well...if they are not rotten they are cool....hmmm would you like me to send you some dried shroom aroma in a little bottle? LOL
