As an EMT if some one appears confused drunk ect any alter mental status then they don't have the right to refuse treatment. I don't have a problem with this because it does save lives.

I had a friend years back who died of an oxy OD. He was living with his grandma and taking all her pill while getting shit faced. Well one night when he was really wasted his grandma called the police/medics. They determined he was "just drunk" and allowed him to refuse treatment. He died not even 6 hours later.

If someone is "confused" it could be any number of things shock ,stroke, closed head injury, Diabetic emergency  ect.

Yes the cops do abuse there power but this is not a case of power abuse. Its like those people who get sandy vagina's cause they have to wear there seat belt

really? I find that interesting since I've had numerous cops let me go
over drugs, not just a joint but as much as a half pound, seems that
you just like shit talking with nothing to back it up, were you even
aware that half the cops in the nation oppose the drug laws?

cops arent there to screw your life, they let you do what you're going
to do then bust you for it, no one makes the bad guy rob the liquor
store, they dont force anyone to rape the little girl down the street,
do these people deserve a second chance? well why should drug users get
a second chance, simply because you use drugs? well lets suppose you
steal social security checks from old people, should theives get the
second chance too? it's real simple, if you dont like the laws, change them

what exactly are 'illegals', are we talking about people entering the

I know right, before the country was even a country they had all those
archaic drug laws that prohibited nothing... most drug laws werent going
on the books until the 20th century, as I recall that was 200 years
without a prohibition on cocaine, opium, marijuana or the majority of
other drugs, with the repeal of alcohol prohibition it sure seems like
these laws can change, but hey, it's ancient history and we're still not
allowed alcohol in this country because the laws can never be changed

who made the drug dealer sell drugs, was it the police or the drug
dealer himself, the cop has to enforce the laws and until the laws
are changed they'll continue to enforce them. have a problem with the
law, that falls on your legislators, cops dont make the laws, in fct to
be honest, you not talking to your elected reps just means you're guilty
of making these laws as well, I mean we all see how it's working out in
california, marijuana was illegal in 1995, it was OK for medical use in
1996, now 14 years later they're working on full legalization, so it
appears that they are in fact changing the laws

Your right I might not have to much evidence to back up my shit talk but I do look at the news the papers and society thats all the evidence I need right there ...when cops come rolling down the street and people turn there heads thats enough proof for me that are system is going in the wrong direction.

They did that in 1995 to add money in someones pocket some where down the line it was for cash and not the better of society. All these laws bare a price tag with someones name on it.

The cops are there doing what there told??? Doing there job...No sir they are doing what they are allowed what that shiny badge and blue uniform and gun allows them to do. With out permission they have nothing to go on for. Laws or no laws if they can get away with it they will.

Im gonna have a very hard stand point on ever agreeing with you about police..I just went to G20 and the whole thing was just ....GODDAMN SWINE!!! EVERYWHERE and thats all I can really say is swine and what do pigs do best? Oink Oink Oink!!!!

they knew the law, they knew the risk, they took the chance, that has
nothing to do with the cops, it was their choice, there was no cop
forcing them to sell drugs

does it matter that it created an industry and legal jobs for people
that grow and distribute? why yes it does, is that some sort of bad
thing? not from what I can see, looks like it's benefited the people
because people have their drug and arent going to jail, others are
selling the drug without going to jail, others are growing the drug
without going to jail, previously all these things resulted in jail time
for the offenders... so here you are wanting drugs to remain illegal
because there's some motivation of profit... I got news for you, the
illegal drugs are sold for profit too, do you think growers and dealers
are giving the shit away?

some horrible human rights violation going on, well goodness, go break

incoherent, contradicting himself on strange subjects, parked in a very unusual place.

Police could have fucked him over if they wanted. They went out of their way to help him with some things...

Funny thing is he has no recollection of the details, but has this false memory of what happened and believes he is a victim. Its not his first encounter with police, and this follows a familiar pattern of him being the victim.

I don't think alcohol or drugs were involved, I think he has dementia...
