Cops Made My Friend Go to the ER for Nothing

My friend is in his mid 50's, struck up a conversation with a cop, the cop said my friend was 'confused', used that as justification for making my friend go to the emergency room, where he spent the night till 4 in the morning when a doctor was finally able to determine that he was not 'confused'.

Is this standard procedure for police? It seems really fucked up.

Police are fucked up they are not human like you and I
they are very different
They control and will control you and your family's they are not there for safety but for personal gain and status to be seen in society...if it wernt for that then they wouldn't need a uniform to out stand from the rest of us no good deed go's un-done. But they are not in it for good deeds or help anything that makes them look good makes them look like they made a difference (which they have but not in a good way) is good news to them.

Police are there to test your rights and will power...Both they will deprive you of.

No cop is a friend and if you ever consider one or your friend does well then your looking at the wrong friends.

NO cop brings back the time lost to people who spend 20+ years behind bars for a simple plant or mushroom
NO cop brings back the dead
They can imprison all the murderers in the world but tomorrow someone will murder again :bow2:

police reports wont give you much, the cop can only give what was said
in conversation and indications of his concern

If your friend wasn't "confused", why didn't he just leave?

Unless he was tied to the bed then it should have been no problem to leave.  People do it all the time, though sometimes they do get stopped.

And an inconvience isn't the only problem (if your friend wasn't "confused" that is, what does that even mean anyway)...there were probably other people that had real emergencies that had to wait b/c this cop thought he had to go to the ER.

We don't know the whole story though, something is missing I think.

did the guy not know that the illegal drugs were illegal? he knew the
risks so he took them, he lost. not the cop's fault, the cop didnt make

has it occurred to you that the reason these parents congratulate them
is because there are some decent cops out there and that if you arent
out breaking laws and getting busted just to blame it on the stupid cops
that you'll probably not have any issues with them... I mean it sounds
really weird but it's pretty well established as a fact

I don't know where you live, but where i'm from a police officer does not have the right to detain you and drag you somewhere against your will when you have not commited a crime.

Your friend sounds a bit ignorant, especially at that age and could have easily said "no thanks, i'm fine- goodnight"
