Tool Concert was awesome! but..

The Tool concert in Winnipeg was great!  they put on an awesome show like always.  But I have never seen so many pigs and security at a concert here ever before!!

I had floor tickets, fifth row.  There were pigs making sure we didnt leave our seat area, and even if we had to piss we had to be escorted by security out of our seat area. 

The dude behind me lit up a cigarette, not a joint, and had three pigs literally jump on him and kick him out of the show. 

My friend Amber was told by a cop at random to punch the guy next to her in the face!  She went to the pigs face and said "You just are saying that so you can kick me out!"  the pigs response was to shove amber into the chairs, then walk away.

My other friend Ashley was elbowed to the ground while the pigs were trying to arrest a guy four seats down from her...

A pig tried pushing me while I was walking along the rows of seats, luckily I saw what he was gonna do and moved at the last second so he stumbled on his feet and he almost fell..

No person who bought a ticket and was there to watch the show instigated anything with the security or pigs, but the pigs were out to piss people off. 

With a head full of mushrooms it made for an uncomfortable experience.

Damn, that doesn't sound like fun, at all. I love Tool, though. Maybe the cops were country music fans.:grin:

Its a conspiracy!  The cops were told to be assholes at all the shows so people like you would complain about it, thus discouraging the use of psychedelic drugs at later shows!  It's all in their plaaaan, maaaan! :tinfoil:

dude i was at the KC show

i took a picture and got CHOKED by a HUGE fuckin security guard. i flipped out on his ass dude, idk how i didnt get arrested. i told 2 KC cops to suck my fuckin dick cause they wouldnt do jack shit about it.

fuck tool concerts.

Lol, well maybe the pigs were country music fans, some of them were constantly checking their watch's.


I don't think this is related to any conspiracy theory, nor do I watch too many movies!  I am just relaying what I thought was crazy and outrageous at that concert.

The music was great, the show tool put on was awesome.  I know I was out of my mind on mushrooms, and that probably made the pigs presence there more pronounced to me, but every person who was sitting where I was noticed the same as I.

The security at the shows ive been too has been laughable.  I say that because they were only after people who put their phone in the air.  I was smoking a joint next to the aisle at red rocks the second night and was texting someone and this authority lady comes over and starts yelling at me and killing the buzz of everyone around me.  I saw a lot of people get warned.  yes, it is bullllshiittt.  but those were the directives from the band.
