poll about cultivation of pot vs. cultivation of mushrooms

this poll is for any of you who have cultivated both mushrooms, and marijuana. what did you find easier to grow from innoculation/planting to harvest?

this is just for fun cuz im really bored

p.s. this is ony meant for people who live in areas that growing shrooms and pot is legal  :wink:

Pot was easier, takes longer from start to finish tho

, but i'm prefering the mushie cult as it's more amusing.  :smile:

It's all a learning curve either way.. it's all about how fast you learn!

pot ex: from fluo lights with seeds from past baggie... to HPS lights in hydro with clones...

mush ex: from PF cakes... to poop casings

I wish it was all legal, it's just a fun hobby!!

I also brew my own wine, wich is just as much fun..

Even tried home made soap! now that was an interesting hobby, but pretty hazardous in comparison!!!! strange!

Yeh, first try at growing pot was a success with little or not effort. All it took was fertilizer once a week and sunshine. However, with mushrooms, it took alot more knowledge and sterile conditions to succeed on the first try. I'd say growing marijuana for the novice is a lot less complex since gardening is more common to the average joe than is growing shrooms in cakes in sterile conditions.

Growing pot indoors meand worrying over pwr consumption, smell, difficult to conceal,

Mushies are a nice little hobby.. a bin or 2, a PC, and lysol, jars, spray bottle, h2o2, straw, poop, wbs, thermometer, hydrometer, humidyfier, verm, peat, perlite,

Hold. on... wtf.. i thinks i should take up weed again.. hahahahaha

Mushrooms are much easier for me, i can grow shrooms with the snap of a finger but weed just doesnt like me

I think they are both fairly easy. grow pot outdoors and shrooms, 9er whole grain tek then spawn to horse poo. Shrooms are just quicker, but the MJ is def worth the wait.

I'm growing both and I think that Marijuana needs ALOT more atention and care...  and its alot more time consuming.  Shrooms is more fun because everything is done in one day, then a few more things done after a few weeks and after both times you just wait and watch the growing of shrooms which looks alot cooler.  Sterility and knowledge about teqniques is all you need for Shrooms.  For weed its money (alot) daily care, watering... alot more stuff.

Magash, DAMN DAMN DAMN I wish I had you as my dealer, FOR FUCKS SAKE :shocked:  Have any more pics of shrooms and weed that ur growing?

i believe pot is much easier. seed in dirt, turn on light, add water. mushrooms involve cleaning stuff (yeck!) and are much easier to screw up with too much water, too little water, contams, temps, humidity.

the debate will rage on forever  :grin:

pot, is easiest, you can throw a small handfull of seeds out your bedroom window and grow a pot plant.

Pot is much more work to do right. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't really grown it (a seedling doesn't count).

the question is about growing in general, not producing dank fruits of whatever.


YOu cant just pop and mushroom spore in the ground and have an 80% chance or so of it growing.

Plain and simple, growing a marijuana plant... no matter of the potentcy is much easier then growing mushrooms.

I have noticed however that they go reverse, shrooms get easier and easier every time you grow it seems and the more you get into growing marijuana the more complex it gets.

Yeah but who the cares about growing weed if it isn't DANK right? What the fuck man, you like smokin' the ditch weed?

It takes more skills to produce killer nugs than to produce killer mushies.

I would like to try growin the nugs, but it's harder to conseal, has more time invested in it so more time wasted if it ends up being hella seedy or of poor quality.

But at the same time, I would think growin' your own danklicious nugs would have to be somewhat more gratifying... for me anyways... just cause nugs is an everyday thing!!:) Nugs is truly my favorite pass time, mushies second... close second!! I can go without mushies and have nugs, but I really don't like to trip if I don't gotz my nuggoze!!!

imho, claiming that if someone's opinion differs from yours that they haven't "really grown it" is absurd.

given the right strain, it's easy as hell to grow big dense sticky buds. i got big fat nugs on my first try with skunk under a 400 w mh. genetics is the number one determining factor of whether your nugs will be good or not. given good seed and enough light it is hard to not grow good pot.

i've grown both and would have to say shrooms are much easier. if weed were easy i'd be growing it right now as well as mushies. here's the way i see it, i give away ounces of dried shrooms to my friends for free cuz they're so easy to grow...there's no way i'd ever give away an ounce of dank, cuz too much friggin work went into that ounce(of course i'd smoke everybody up though).

yes you are qualified i love them buds whats the strain.? but i must also disagree. not with you but with the answer..

for me weed is much easier to grow.. Especially if you are growing in soil. Now if you grow in hydro it is a little more stressed as checking the ph everyother day etc.. Plants dont really need as much attention as these little shrooms.. There is no need for streralizing the air or opening the freaking oven when we plant.. shit i plant smoking blunts and ashes falling (helps ph in soil) and all that good stuff.. when we do our clones how much easier is it than making a print or waiting for the jar to colonize? Mary is a warrior..

you do have an excellent point there....IMO bud is easier to plop a seed in dirt and let it grow.  However, you are right in the fact that good bud is a lot harder to grow then good mush.... in most cases.

I still think that it is directly proportional.... the more you grow weed the harder it gets , seeing as you get more into techniques.... with mush you grow it and get a little better each time with your choice of tek... not to say trying different teks isnt hard the first time either....
