Well for anyone who has never tried smoking mushrooms and thinks it doesn't work...it does 
Five of us smoked a gram of weed mixed with two grams of mushrooms last night out of a big 4 person bong I made. Wow. Ultra intense high, lasted about 30-45 minutes or so. No real visuals or anything like that, just a powerfull trippy feeling. It actually completely overpowers the weed.
I used to say it was a waste to smoke mushrooms. Well it is . But if you have some to waste...it's still pretty fun.

A friend of mine dropped a few hits of Liquid LSD on a bowl
for us to smoke.

LSD is only LSD, and it get destroyed by heat. However, the mushrooms have other goodies in them, apart from psilocin and psilocybin. It's very possible that some of them might be smokable...

I've tried it before without the weed. Works, but it's much harder to smoke and you have to keep the lighter on the shrooms for longer (they don't cherry like weed does) so I'm betting more of the goodies would be destroyed. I figuered by letting the weed burn without a lighter on it the whole time we would save more of the psilocybin

I've also tried that w/ a vapir and it didn't do shit, but that may be because I only used .5g.

Hmmm, theres only trace amounts in most psilo's c. shrooms. I dont know what the C. temp of fire is, but I bet it's more then 220-228? C, which is the melting point (destruction) of psilocybin, which is what makes you trip, so do that test again with NO other drugs and PROVE to me that something still happens.

A friend and I smoked a shitload of his mushrooms with and without weed because I wanted to prove to him that smoking mushrooms doesn't do anything, and it didn't do anything... that's all I can offer here - my experience.

Oh it also just struck me to ask you a question:
Had you shroomed very recently before you did this? You mentioned you had shrooms to spare, so I would assume you had tripped recently.
If so, I can also share my experience with smoking pot after doing mushrooms. For a couple days after a trip, when I smoke weed it has a really strong shroomy effect to it

Wow! Like cool doode! One time I smoked five bowls of weed and then I smoked some Red Rock Opium and I got sooooo stoned from the Red Rock Opium!!!

Yes I had done shrooms the night before.
And listen: I guarantee you that it was not just the weed in the bowl that got us all high. I smoke four or five times a day; I know what weed is like, and this wasn't it.
When smoking mushrooms (this was not the first time I've done so) the trick is to keep the lighter on the bowl for as LITTLE time as possible. I mean the bare minimum here. You want to get the stuff burning, but not kill it with an open flame. That's what the pot is for in the bowl. You get it to cherry and then take away the ligher, the mushrooms will burn along with the weed and you won't get it too hot.
Now I've smoked mushrooms before without any weed and it DOES work if you light it properly. It works MUCH better with a little weed in the bowl, though.

waht about smoking the shrooms using zigzags and applying the same method (of not putting it under
the lighter for too long) and maybe adding some tobacco (if ya dont have any mj per say) to help
"incubate" or "somewaht protect" the sensitive shrooms from direct heat. Mine as well try, i have a half of
skimpy, skinny bodies that i should experiment with  :D
did u grind them into a powder or just snip them (the stalks) into tiny pieces? I think im gonna snip them
wit my tiny scissors like one does wit their bud.

Psilocybin doesnt like to much heat either and heat will "kill" it
and animita muscaria are the only shrooms that like heat and are smokable (not that I liked it that much)
in fact heat increases the muscimol content on muscaria
muscimol is the active main psycoactive

I've shroomed enough to know that, too. I had already smoked 3 or 4 sessions that day with the normal after-effects from the shrooms the night before. The bowl with the shrooms in it though was quite different.

I won't do it. It would be stupid to smoke them, even if it did work. Eating them is without a doubt much more efficient.
On the technical side though, I wouldn't be surprised if it was possible to get treshold effects by smoking them.

Of course... I have never done it personally, but lots of my friends have smoked some of their shrooms... a friend of mine who smoked a pure bowl of shrooms said he really liked it, but it's nothing like ingestion.
And I have to ask... cutting weed with scissors? Do people do this? I've never heard of/seen it before! Weird. Doesn't seem like a horrible idea, but sort of weird.

I use scissors all the time, but I usually use my budbuster/coffee grinder.
Tends to really fluff it up.

Yeah depends on the weed but I will always use sizors if it is very dry bud. The grinder will just turn it into sand if it's too dry.
PS: yeah, smoking mushrooms is a WASTE, or didn't anyone read the topic? I would much rather munch down on the little shroomies than smoke them and lose soo much goodies. But hey, if you've got them to waste, it's kinda fun :P

it makes me feel as one with teh bud....seems more natural, taking ur time to prepare it and such. LOL
i use my sweet leaf grinder only when im lazy

maybe simply becaue psilocybin is like DMT it works
but Psilocybin is also like serotonin which cannont be smoked and if injected nothing happens
