Hah

Hey guys!  So....you'll never believe. 

A round of mushrooms came up and they were great.  Small but really good.  I was leaving to go to Yellowstone last week though and I thought I was starting to see some contamination on one end.  I was high as a kite (yeah, lesson learned) so I picked what was there and thought that was the end of it.  Left it alone for 5 days, shut up in the house with little light.  It did manage to keep pretty warm though.

So, we came home Sunday night and found this FOREST of mushrooms. LOL - it was NUTS.  Seriously.  The biggest mushroom that you are seeing here next to the playing cards - weighed over 2oz by itself. 

I'm just shocked.  I thought this whole thing was over with and that I just needed to do all of these things different - but wow - these mushrooms just LOVED that container. 

Took plenty of spore prints and believe it or not - there are more mushrooms in there still growing.  Forgive the pictures.  I was SO flipping excited when I came in from Yellowstone (while I was still unloading the car) that I just starting picking them before I even thought about taking a photo.  When I did remember to take the photos all I had was my cell phone camera, not my *real* camera. :smile:

Side Note and lesson learned on the actual trip itself:

Don't get online like a big dummy.  I found out that my best friend has terminal cancer during the middle of my experience.  Awful.
