Use a paper towel to soak up excess water...  little water droplets are ok, but any liquid pooling should be cleaned up. next time line your tub with a black trash bag to keep the side pins you will soon be learning about from occurring. You should do a search on monotubs, and familiarize yourself with how they function in order to get the most for your money. I say this because i noticed you dont have any holes for gas exchange, meaning the only time they get gas exchange is when you fan/mist, which is not adequate for producing healthy fruits. Otherwise what you have going on looks good!! im surprised they can get away with selling bags like that... even in Seattle... what a wonderful city we live in :smile: :thumbup:

I feel strange dropping the name of the place, but apparently the whole situation is quite legal. 

Yeah, I counted 5 holes just now.  Also, the box itself doesn't exactly *seal* so there is not an air-tight situation going on.  Is this not good enough??  Fanning off and on all day, misting 3 or 4 times a day.

Those holes are not big enough for gas exchange. the holes should be about 1in- 1.5 in. in diameter. and stuffed with poly-fil, which is just polyester stuffing you can find bags of it at most any craft store. As to the mushrooms on the bottom... some of them will grow, but they will grow all smashed into the substrate, and some of mine usually end up in the trash if they get slimy or look undesirable. Taking the extra step of adding a trash bag to stop those kinds of pins from happening is worth the small amount of effort it takes to tape the bag in there. I would leave your tub for now, and just do more research before you do your next one. Good luck, and keep us updated!

I have a friend that volunteers every year, it's a good group.  Apparently a rally of some sort is in the making too...something about seeds in the mail.  Heard it through the pot-vine today. :wink:

Those arent the best links ever, but if you're intrigued i figure you can go on from there.

He is being prosecuted by the US government for mailing pot seeds from Canada to the US. Canada extradited him to the US on thursday so he can make his guilty plea tomorrow.  Sooo.. there was a large seattle rally last saturday. yeah, i dont know if thats what you're talking about, but if its not resolved by Hempfest (which it probably wont be), im sure it will be a major topic of discussion this year and there will be more rallies b4 then. let us know if you hear anything we should know about!

I've had 55 replies and 809 views on the thread for the record. 

I ran into problems with the limits that shroomery gives me so I just went over to photobucket.  I like to post high-res photos so people can actually see what I'm seeing.
