Are you sure? Can you explain why even safe, harmless drugs are illegal then when they have been proven time and time again they are safe?

alright. im open with my dad about shit, ive taken mescaline and ayahuasca with him. anyway he met the kid (he's like 22?) at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.

i suppose he could have been lying (the kid) since he was at NA  and those people tend to not always be honest. but i assure you my dad wasn't bullshitting me. he gave me a bunch of details about the kids homelife and stuff. actually kind of a sad story.

It's not just that. It's the same type of myth as people being charged with manslaughter for possession or sale of LSD. There are myths on both sides of the fence and they are equally damaging.

The kid was BSing him 100%. Attempting to overthrow the government is considered "high treason", which is usually punishable by death.

Dude probably got possession of a few hits of LSD with intent to distribute and got a few years in the pen. And for whatever reason he decided to "fluff" up his story a little bit.
