Who the fuck came up with them? How are they ALL not life or at around 30 or more? I never understand when I see something like six years or whatever.

and also i don't see how rape is any worse than any other sort violent crime. do you think people should get 30years-life for beating the crap out of someone?

also people in prison get raped a lot more often than people outside of prison i think. so sending rapists to prison is kinda a no-win situation..

idk.. it's fun to think about this stuff

don't worry the rapists always get payed back in full while they're doing time in prison.

quite a few don't even make it out alive, so in some cases it turns out to be the death penalty anyway.

Rape should be punishable by death.  FUck that shit.  Violent attacks are one thing, violent attack that ends in brutal and demoralizing/dehumanizing penetration against one's will is a whole 'nother attack.

I'm glad rapists get fucked up in jail.  Fuck 'em all.

You never know when someone is lieing. Some bitch in high school got pregnant and told everyone that I raped her. It wasn't even my kid and when everyone found that out they never bothered to tell me sorry for judging me without evidence.

My sister in law says she got raped by 2 guys in college but all her friends say she got drunk and let 2 guys take her upstairs and fuck her brains out. In her head she got raped and says so to this day. I guess she never even told them no. She just let them lead her upstairs away from the party and take her cloths off and fuck her. After she freaked out. No one would believe her but her parents. Her boyfriend didn't even believe her. She slept with anyone and was a known drunk who let anyone fuck her. Who knows what really happened, but no I don't think those guys deserve jail for fucking her. They were dicks for double teaming a 3 beer drunk girl who wasn't really even drunk tho. He sister (my wife) didn't find anything surprising at all. She was just asking for it the way she behaved and dressed. I know that sounds fucked up but everyone says the same. She even admits that.

Yeah, I've had some friends in the past that were accused of rape by girls just looking for revenge on them, or looking for attention, and it fucked up their life. So rape laws are tricky things.

If, however, it is conclusively proven that someone is a rapist, throw their ass in prison for 30 years, fuck 'em.

Exactly.  Not everyone who is accused of rape is actually guilty.  But those who are deserve to be punished as harshly as they punished their victim(s), imo.

Definitely a fine line.  It gets tricky, because proving rape is fucking hard.  It's a shame a few slutty fucking bitches who get drunk and scream rape have to ruin it for all the legitimately raped women, who can't get justice because of the other bitches "crying wolf".

Yea, no.  I believe in any and all disincentives to rape.  If guys knew that the woman's word didn't go that far in rape convictions, guys would be a lot less hesitant to consider it.  Fuuuuuuck that.  We should start shooting rapists in the face publicly.  See what happens then.

Rape is a violent crime with much more serious psychological problems attached.

Like it or not sex, sexual identity, sexuality, and how it all develops are very complex issues which are further complicated by rape.

If I got my ass beat for no reason I'd probably be shaken for a while and start carrying a weapon. Beyond that I don't think it would do much to me mentally. If I got raped? Oh man I could see where that would really fuck me up (especially being a guy).
