ok, first, dont' worry about not seeing anything after 6 days, that's not too long.second, drying does NOT cause a loss of potency in cubensis - as long as you don't use heat. it's an urban myth, probably stemming from the fact that stupid drug dealers dry them in their oven, or something idiotic like that. i don't know how well fresh shrooms keep. i always dried them. the easiest way to do it is to just set them in front of a fan, this'll take out most of the water. some people put them on a screen in a container with desicant after that. i never bothered, because they were pretty much fully dried after the fan. just so long as there's not heat, drying them won't hurt them. exactly what Link says, there is very, very little potency loss in drying, and why you ask you must do it? because it will keep the shrooms for much longer, dry mushrooms can keep for 2 months (using little heat (overhead light) to dry) with no *real* potency loss before 2 months, and then there is long term methods, that can keep for up to a year or so, maby more, look in the Grow/Find section of the shroomery.org in the Preserving whatever...

gotta disagree-- drying does lower potency, because the psilocin degrades very rapidly. fresh will keep in the fridge a week or so then you must dry before bacteria attack, rotting the shroom like any ordinary fruit/vegetable.------------------ Visit http://www.drooldonkey.org Global Psychedelic Community, Forums & Chat, Teks & Tips.

Probably best in a waxed paper bag, not plastic or a small cardboard box.
