here's a simple yet effective liquid myc. tek.
1 tsp. honey
1/2 pint sterile spring water
mix, pressure cook 20 min. at 15 psi.
cool & inoculate w/1 cc spore solution.
incubate at 85*F for 1 week then draw up syringes by the dozen.

fyi, dextrose is also known as 'corn sugar'.
easily gotten, along with yeast, from home brew suppliers. agar can be found at either location you mention but it's expensive these days.

Hey Hip. How long can the inoculated honey water hang around?

I have some -about 1 cc- of spores from my last jars and and couldnt figure out what the hell to do with 'em. Would you inoculate jars or can you go straight for some sort of bulk TEK?

I'm going to use the Honey-tek to inoculate my rye grain jars and then do grain to grain transfers to keep propagation going(hopefully)
