Unsatisfied, even though ive shroomed. * 1

For some reason, even though ive shroomed 3 times in the last 2 weeks, i still feel extremely unsatisfied as far as my psychedelic urges are concerned. Whatever answers i am looking for--before where i thought that psychedelics might provide an answer-- i still feel unsatisfied. Should i expand to new psychedelics, for example, mescaline, ayahuasca, DMT?
All i know is i feel pretty lost and dont know where to find happiness in this life. :frown:

Unfortunately, no psychedelic is going to guarantee you answers to anything. In fact, in my experience they're just as likely to make you painfully aware of how little you know.

I guess it depends on the answers you're looking for though. At times when I've needed some ideas as to what to do with myself, LSD has provided on many occasions.

I find a relatively high dose of mescaline while alone to be a very therapeutic experience.

I don't know how much it influences soul-searching, as I've been in a pretty good place with not much on my mind lately, (Knock on wood) but I felt extremely at peace with the world and I think that's influenced my sober mind state.

You won't usually find happiness through drugs. Love might do it.

What're you unhappy about?  I felt lost once.  I was pissed!  So I went on a quest,  a spirit walk to find the Lord,  so I could have it out with him.  I ended up getting literally lost;  in the eastern Washington desert.  For 2 or 3 days.  The next couple years,  I spent coming to grips with my experience,  and I ended up finding everything I could have ever have desired.

You think you're lost now?  Maybe that's good.  Put your mind to it and find yourself,  even if that means you've got to get lost further.

Its not intended towards you. The shroomery and its quote features confuses me when I'm up at times that I'm usually sleeping. My mistake.

But seriously OP, there is a beauty in a mushroom trip, but the magic is lost if you eat them like candy.

Thanks for the responses. Yea Im not sure what answers I am looking for, it just seems something is missing and that i am a little off in terms of my interaction with the world. I cannot seem to understand the most simple of social interactions, why i have social anxiety, and why I have an inferiority complex. I know that everyone is a product of their conditioning, collective life experiences but I just want to have peace of mind. And for some reason when i take the psychedelics, it feels like for a short while that any and all questions i could have, could be answered. I dont know what it is, I can enjoy many of the small things, like the smell of coffee, a hot shower, collapsing into bed after a really long day, the soft warm breeze of a beautiful day, but the overall outlook is bleak.

Psychedelics don't provide quick answers to the meaning of life, or anything. If that's what youre expecting then youre confused.

Life is a process, stop looking for shortcuts.
