Shrooms when pissed off

I'm a moderately experienced shroomer, and have read so many warnings about not shrooming when tired or depressed but never felt this way.. until the other night.

The short story is that I had looked forward to doing my 'biggest ever dose' of 100g fresh last weekend. I can usually stay in control @70g so thought I'd push the limit! I bought some kit for my cannabis hyro system on Fri, travelled miles and was pissed off that they didn't have any wide spectrum lamps in a hydro shop. Friend decided to 'pop by' on Sat aft so no chance of doing shrooms that eve. Spent 5 grueling hours traipsing London for bulb on Sat am. Got v drunk on Sat pm. Wasted the whole of Sun am.

By Sun pm, I was so tired, pissed off etc, I thought to myself that things would pick up as soon as I did the shrooms. I wrongly assumed that if I tried hard enough to enjoy myself, the shrooms would pick me up.

In reality, shrooms on a downer are SUCH A PISSER! Philosophical thoughts become irritating, TV becomes hard work, and one would give anything to feel normal and go to sleep. After 2 hours of irratability, I finally had to take 5 Nytol to get me to rest.

Lesson learned: Shrooms are not a pick-me-up. They should be respected and consumed in the right frame of mind, and not just for the sake of it.
