what is the pro/con of using the shroom wizard's grow guide * 2

no do not use it. i tried it my first time and it fucked me over.so many people have failed with this tek. it seems easy, but its really not. go for the pf tek or MMGG.

I am sorry but I think that tek is crap. It is very unreliable. Use PF Tek and then check some options about casings, but as a beginner I would say you should just fruit from the cake.

when doing the shroom wizard tek make sure u steralize the potting soil in the oven so u dont get contams, thats the only problem with it. i dont think its a bad tek. its one out of a couple that arent written as good as they should be. i suggest using the 50/50 tek or a strait verm casing instead of potting soil though.
Its just a different tek.

Pros: The tek is easy to follow, by far the least intimidating tek that I found, at least when I was starting. I did his tek the first time, and didn't get shit (cause I didn't have holes in my lid, in case you are wondering how I inoculated, I scraped spores off a print, do not do that, it's stupid)

Cons: I don't think potting soil is a great casing layer, he doesn't describe how to fruit off of cakes, there are many, many holes in his tek.

I think that he is actually a good guy that has his own way of doing shit that works for him. He is very willing to help out a newbie, and all in all, a pretty nice guy. With that said, I think you should try the PF tek instead.

just because i failed at using the shroom wizard tek like most others is because i had hardley any knowledge on using it. i had no idea how to case the right way(way to think and never incubated or steralized potting soil)
its not any different then some of the other teks ive read. I bet if u asked txtec about it he would tell u it works great because i know he is successful all the time using it. Most people fail with it because it is theyre first try not because it isnt any good. just my opinion though

I have read it several times and find serious flaws in it.
IMHO (In my honest opinion) it sucks bad.
It sucked so bad...that I didn't waste my time trying it.
Plus I hear more horror stories than kudos for that tek.

to each there own though...if it works for you...use it.

I tried that tek before, and when it didn't work I asked him if it could be because I live in the desert. LOL Guess what his reply was. The tempo in every ones house is pretty much the same. LOL Ok for one the temp in my house gets in the 90's especially when it is 110 out side, also the humidity in my house doesn't get above 25% unless it is raining outside. Guess how often that happens in the desert. Any way I will stop my ranting. I think you get the point. :tongue:
